IT'S M A Y - Monthly Community Update (Patreon)

HELLO EVERYBODY
MY FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR IS HERE

And I'm on a mission to make it a SPECIAL one this year
For the first time I bought myself a "Germany ticket" for the month, which enables me to drive with almost every public transportation in Germany, from trains to busses to even a few ferries in Hamburg, let's FUCKING GO
Why am I doing this? Well, unlike the majority of people I am not really going on a vacation right now or aNYTIME SOON for that matter, unfortunately. I miss it a lot though! 😭 But I can make the month feel like one, as the weather is finally playing along and there are a SHITTON of festivals and celebrations happening in my city this month. PLUS it's May beetle season, my favorite beetles to catch and photograph. I want to take a few trips as an opportunity to sketch in nature as well. I'll be sure to share everything I might end up drawing outside this month!

ONLY unfortuntate thing that happened is that my camera is currently in repair, the buttons are busted but I hope it gets fixed by next week 😭 I'm missing out on BUGS TO PHOTOGRAPH

But aside from my "half-vacation", what else will be going on this month? I am STILL planning on keeping the Patreon active this May after all!

PLANS FOR MAY

• First of all, my top priority is a commission right now that I think you guys will enjoy as well! I have a couple more customers waiting in line that I hope to get to this month as well, so I want to make bigger progress in the next couple of days with my current comm :D

• We'll be doing another Game stream of Miitopia, next time going LIVE on Youtube with a few patrons and friends helping me out with the stream :D At some point we'll stream Pokemon Unite as well, it will be my very first time playing 😂 No dates set yet!

BTW Shoutout to my Patron Vi for sponsoring a Capture Card for the Switch for me, thank you so much!! It will open so many new possibilities for streaming now!

•  I'll also start work on a new Pokemon comic this month, I squeezed in a little follow-up of the last comic that will give me the opportunity to establish a little side-arc that will play a bigger role in the story later down the line. I haven't made a storyboard for this comic yet, but the outline based on the dialog is already created, so I know how many images I'll be sketching.

• BIGGEST News for this month however:
  I have decided (and already started) to work on an english translation for my first Gardendragon guidebook. The only good thing about the MANY AI-programs out there that make most of Artist's life pure hell right now, is that we have better online translators than ever before. I have chosen one that will help me create an english basis of my book to work from, that I'll then rework, correct, and send off to two friends who'll be able to grammar-check and refine everything.

I am tired of being restricted to my own language, I haven't given up on finding a new publisher in Germany, but I want to have more possibilities for my book and if I can directly publish it in english somewhere, that'd be incredible.

So BIG STUFF PLANNED, this month is gonna be PACKED! Hope you're ready for it, I'll keep you all updated :D STAY TUNED!
