Game Progression (March) (Patreon)
Content
Let's jump to the news :
The second chapter build up, step by step.
My work doesn't leave me a lot of time but I usually manage to devote ten to twelve hours/week to the game, especially on week-ends.
Personalias, as usual, update the scenario every month and I progressively integrate all the dialogues and game mechanics in the chapter.
Melkinit help us on the sprite work. He did a very good job, especially on the diaper change which is fantastic. You'll find some examples of his work right below this post. Some of the sprites (like the stroller one) are for others chapters.
The corrections
- The tilesets that caused problems because of the accents have been corrected, so normally the game should work for those who had their computers configured in Japanese or Slavic.
- Graphic indications Career Day through the notes, the player will knows exactly where to go and who to adress (Of course, you'll have to look in the inventory)
Progress on the new chapter
- The side quest mechanics are integrated, remains only to test and add dialogues!
- A character can temporarily join Eclair at some point in the chapter. So a new portrait will be available in the menu.
- New loading screen.
- Some improvements of the tilesets to highlight the most important places (Coffee, library, nursery).
- I also work on variations of Eclair bustset for certain situations (unfinished at the moment).
- The Potty System mechanics are being working on. I copied the potty system from LAWFIRM by Baboon, which was very efficient without need of programming knowledge.
- In general, I'm still working on the integration of new dialogues.
- We plan on one hour of lifetime for this chapter, just like last time.
