Phonetics Lesson Updates! (Patreon)
Content
Good morning, Patrons!
I hope that everyone is having a good week. I just wanted to let you all know that I have updated two lessons with high quality native recordings: lesson 38, which covers useful tips on vowel pronunciation, and lesson 40, which talks about the object marker を.
Lesson 40
Note: Lesson 40 used to contain a section on re-articulation—in this bit I explained how the を in the phrase 日本語を shouldn't be said as a constant extension of the お in ご. It's recently come to my attention, however, that what's going on here may not be the same as the re-articulation phenomenon I talk about in lesson 36, so I opted removed this particular bit from the lesson. I plan on making an additional post about this in the future after doing more research.
As usual, if anyone has any questions or concerns with regards to this post, feel free to leave a comment below! Thank you for your continued support, and good luck with your future Japanese studies!
