Total blowout in this week's request poll, with Hellzapoppin' receiving 65% of the vote vs. River's Edge. I have never seen this film and have wanted to ever since March of 2001, when my friend Chris showed a clip (which he titles "The Harlem Congeroos / Whitey's Lindy Hoppers") at his then-annual movie clip party. I know literally nothing else about it—just that it features some great and very energetic dancing at some point. (Certainly the title suggests a full-fledged musical. I could of course just look it up, but nah.) Have seen only one previous film directed by H.C. "Not Harry" Potter, 1938's The Shopworn Angel, which was definitely not a musical.  Nobody's streaming it at present, but it's on YouTube (albeit not in great quality) and the Internet Archive (looks like the same source to me). 

Ah, the arguments we used to have on the nerd group.
