A veritable slugfest this week, with Roadgames (or is it Road Games? I'll have to decide soon; seems to have been released both with a space and without, in different territories) nabbing 51% opposite the more seasonal I Walked With a Zombie. Never seen it, don't know a thing about it. My sole experience with director Richard Franklin seems to be the 1984 kiddie thriller Cloak & Dagger, which I saw well over 30 years ago. (Adapted from a Cornell Woolrich story, I now observe, so maybe it's less juvenile than I dimly recall.) Conveniently and I believe newly streaming on the Criterion Channel, which perhaps is what brought it to mind as a request.  

Finally watched The War Game last night (not yet logged on my site as I post this), and I've got How to Steal a Million penciled in for early next week. And then I'll truly be caught up on all outstanding requests. Though just in time for the next random drawing...
