The VVitch: A Pat-Reon Folktale (Patreon)

Incredibly, newcomer Antonio Gray, whose first request (The Best Years of Our Lives) won the poll in his very first week as a patron, also triumphs this week with his second request, John Huston's Fat City. Bear in mind that very few voters know who's requested what (unless that info's being passed around in other channels for some reason), as only folks in the $10+ tiers can see the relevant posts. And in both cases he chose films that had previously been options and not gotten much traction that I recall. If he pulls off a hat trick, I'm gonna start getting suspicious. At least it was a closer heads-up race this time, with "haven't seen" contender The Empty Man receiving 48% of the vote. (I'm surprised no Skandies voter submitted that one for the 2020 survey. It must have been eligible, since people were watching it last year on some streaming platform.) 

Fat City's another favorite that I've long owned on DVD yet haven't seen in eons. (1995, sez my log.) It's available via both Amazon Prime and the Criterion Channel.
