...you pulled me back out, choosing Akira Kurosawa's Red Beard over The Godfather, Part III (original cut) by 53% to 47%. Been itching to see this one for ages; it's conveniently streaming on the Criterion Channel. That'll leave only a handful of post-Rashomon films I haven't yet gotten to: The Idiot, The Lower Depths, and Dodes'ka-den. (Don't think I've seen anything earlier than <i>Drunken Angel</i>.)
