It finally happened. (Patreon)

We had occasional ties back in the days when there was only one poll (before the number of requests exceeded the 20 options that Patreon's software then allowed), and we've had occasional ties in a preliminary poll (thereby creating a three-way race in the final), but this is the first time y'all split precisely down the middle in a head-to-head matchup*. My first thought was to just watch both, but that would incentivize folks changing their votes in every close race, deliberately creating a tie. So I've decided that in the (obviously rare) instances that this happens, it'll go to a tiebreaker thrown to the entire membership, all tiers. If that's still a tie, I'll flip a coin. 

* I was wrong—there had been one previous head-to-head tie. I’d just forgotten. In that instance (The Dead Zone vs. The Professional) I made the decision myself. But I like this solution better.
