The Winning (Patreon)

In what may well prove to be the first of four consecutive fright-offs, Robert Wise's The Haunting—making a return appearance after failing to scare up the necessary votes last October (I think, might've been two years ago)—secured a slight majority vs. I Walked With a Zombie. Having previously confused it with The Innocents, I now find that I've also mixed it up in my head with The Uninvited, which was released by Criterion. The Haunting has not been, which is perhaps why I failed to find it amongst my piles of Blu-rays-to-be-watched. It is, however, readily rentable from the usual streaming-video suspects.
