Next week’s Head-to-Head: Sinatra v Mathis (Patreon)

Was away from home most of today watching a mediocre film that Netflix insisted I drive 1.5 hours each way to see at its L.A. HQ, and forgot until just now to note the result of this week’s squeaker, in which Diner finally broke free from a deadlock and claimed victory over Lupin III (in at least its second and possibly third heads-up defeat). Another favorite that I haven’t watched in ages, though I did write a Scenic Routes piece about the Shrevie/Beth record-filing blowup. (I’m definitely a Shrevie, to my shame.)
