Solid victory for Ferrara's Body Snatchers in its face-off against Black Christmas. (Confession: I'm writing this with half an hour still to go in the poll, setting it to post automatically after the deadline, because I'm about to leave the house for a few hours. So a Dewey defeats Truman is possible. But Body Snatchers has enough of a lead that I can't imagine a reversal.) I can't even recall offhand who's in it and think I'll just let myself be surprised.
As for this month's random drawing, I feel a bit sheepish, because both of the films that landed in the top two spots were requested by working writer-directors whom I know personally (and who've read at least one of my screenplays, even). But I swear the list above is what random.org coughed up in a single click. Might take me a bit longer than usual to get to these (especially Giants and Toys, which I'll need to track down; advice welcome as I don't immediately see it in any of my usual sources), but I'll try to review both before next month's drawing, at the very least.
