Only one person accidentally voted twice, and it made no difference—Step Brothers won handily, giving Nick "not the Hemingway one" Adams his second victory (he previously requested The King of Comedy) in this endeavor's first month of existence. Didn't realize this film had such a cinephile following—I would have expected Walk Hard (also unseen by me) from the John C. Reilly collection. But I'm curious to see what I've missed.

Unrelated note: I'm gonna write (even) briefer capsules on the films I'm seeing at AFI Fest (six so far, one more planned; I gave up on three others for which I had tickets on Sunday, because two were repeat viewings and Buster Scruggs will be on Netflix soon and traffic to/from L.A. was wildfire-nightmarish over the weekend) and post the whole report at once, probably on Thursday. Otherwise I'm likely to fall permanently behind. Will skip ahead to Phantom of the Paradise in the meantime—look for that later today, most likely.
