After several years of having the desire, I finally found someone who was both gorgeous and willing to travel with me late at night up to this little waterfall spot. It's a very public waterfall where TONS of people go because it's right off the road and easy to get to. So finding a moment to shoot there without people was beyond difficult.

In fact, even though it was around 11 p.m. and pitch black where we were, two guys pulled up in a truck and started snooping around. It's always freaky to encounter people out in the wilderness like that. I honestly think we may have scared them off because I immediately approached them and basically started interrogating them on why they were there 🤣🤣 it's just been so scary ever since I got robbed to feel relaxed in that sort of situation.

Still, that didn't sully our night, they left and we got to make some incredible photos!! These were all shot in pitch dark conditions, I had to use a small flashlight for guidance, then turn it off and take all of my actions in the dark. Even the last two that look like they were taken in some sorta weird daylight were also taken in pitch dark. They are 30 second exposures and Renee had to stand perfectly still the whole time. She did a phenomenal job, especially considering the water and air temps were quite chilly!
