This video very well have become my downfall. The concept alone is so mind boggling to film properly...I wanted to shoot the entire thing with plans to play it all back in reverse; when it comes to “taking it off = putting it back on” that’s simple enough. But when you have to do a series of events in reverse and memorize the steps...it’s like a complicated dance. 

I shot this a few weeks ago with plans to edit as much as I could and Madison and I would reshoot if we messed up some portions, because it’s difficult to know it’s right until you put it all together in reverse. Unfortunately I chickened out on editing it because I had very little time, and Madison has since dyed her hair at least 3 times so re-shoots were out of the question. 

Due to this, I was TERRIFIED to try and put this one together. If you aren’t aware, a video edit takes me around 9-15 hours to complete from start to finish (doesn’t include filming time) and I usually do it all in one sitting. I was scared that I might get 5+ hours in before I was able to tell if I had enough material or not. 

In the end I’m proud to say I was only missing one real key piece of footage I wished I had, but I think I managed to work around it without it being noticeable. If anything stands out to you, feel free to say. 

Also, big thing here, if you hate it or just dislike it, PLEASE let me know. I promise I won’t be mad at you! I know this one got really artsy and a lot more hectic with editing, but I hope you guys can all still enjoy it. If not, I need to be the first to know! Was just trying to match the beats/feel of the song.
