April term: Dr. Strange vs Dormammu Concept design notes (Patreon)

Alright, alright. I know this is one of our craziest designs yet, and after watching the video you have been thinking how in the world we are going to print that. But worry you not! We have the answer here for you!

This is a new type of diorama we are trying. Let's say that this one have 2 different configurations:

1. Do you like big prints and cool scenes? We encourage you to print the diorama with the big Dormammu head (Picture 1)! The Dr. Strange will have a base with the Dormammu hand (Picture 2). Also the Dormammu head will be a separate piece, so you can choose what size you want for that (Picture 3). And will have a the name of the movie in a separate piece (Picture 4). You decide what you want to print, the size and how far you want to go!

2. If you are more a classic printer, you are more into small prints or simply don't like the diorama, you can print the two sculptures separated (Picture 5). Our challenge was: how to make Dormammu into a sculpture, if he was a floating head in the movie? Well, we made a research in the Art books of the movie, and found several cool full body designs for Dormammu, and we made a original design based on these (Picture 6). The idea is to make the Dormammu sculpture as big as you can, but it's up to you! Also we made a simpler base for Dr. Strange without the hand (Picture 7).

We think we have most of the angles covered with these two options. Also, we have a couple of aces under the sleeve yet for this specific term, and i can tell you that the result is going to be UNREAL. We will be telling you more through the week!
