Welcome, greetings, one and all.

The results are in, and a clear favorite has emerged. Well, I say emerged. The Crimson Spell Book was ahead from the beginning.

So, let's talk about it a little. Those that have played it will know currently follows a kind of life-sim approach. The player goes about their day, triggering events, and using the spell book in response to them. However, this format doesn't work for many of the story paths that may potentially appear.

For instance, the players actions can create a situation where the main character no longer has full control over events. Maybe someone learns off then steals the spell book. This will end the life-sim section, and branch into a more linear story.

The reason for this hybrid approach is to make it easier for people to only explore the content that interests them. In Reborn App it was effectively a maze to try and find any particular type of content. You had to follow a specific path before the option to go down a certain route even appeared.

To fix this, the Crimson Spell Book will use the life-sim section as a solid base. When the requirements to trigger a special branch are met, the player will have the option of ending the life-sim section to explore it, with a short description to warn the player want kind of content the branch will focus on.

For instance, maybe a special branch will focus heavily on possession. If that sounds interesting, its just a click away. If not, just ignore it.

The next update will feature two of these special paths, both will be completed and playable to their conclusion. Look forward to it, although I've no release date as of yet.
