The first month of the year is complete! As we move into February, we're realizing that 2023 could potentially have a lot of new things in store. We'll talk a little about those things and what's coming up.

The 2018 stuff seems to be going really well. It’s so close to being done and that albatross around your neck being gone. Every time one comes out I get a little thrill, a window into the past. New content in 2023 is exciting. I’m interested to see what Mal is doing, but secrets… Although I am a little concerned that you will run yourself back to where you were at the start of 2022 by taking on a bunch of new stuff, but I do think you will find the balance you need. I’ve always enjoyed the shorts/MM content, especially when it is the older stuff from before I found the channel. Another glimpse into the past, often prompting me to what I should check out next from the backlog. That’s cool with the partner manager though, and it is emblematic of the professional relationship which you built with them, taking their advice, trying it out and building them into the channels. It’s still wild to me that there are other creators who get a partner manager who don’t listen to them, they are the experts in this for a reason, always confuses me. Have you seen any significant impact from the daily shorts this month? I know its usually towards the end of the month when you get time to reply to these, so I’ll give it a shot… Anything you can tell us about Colosseum? Really disappointing to hear the Pokemon Let’s Go didn’t go as well as you hoped. I thought the highlights reel format was a good setup. I could see all of the effort that went into the stream setup with everything, and Dan did a wonderful job of editing. Have a wonderful February and travel safe to Colosseum.

I think it'll take some time to feel the full effects of being caught up on the vlog, but I'm really happy to have finished 2018! I'm always a little cautious when trying to do more things, but I'm hopeful that the caution keeps me safe, haha. I've been able to feel the full effects of relaxing more, and I definitely want to keep that feeling around. I feel certain that Shorts have some sort of impact on the viewership of normal videos, but it's incredibly hard to measure that since the series themselves cause a bigger change. As an example, on YouTube, Stray performed poorly (which we sort of knew it would), and Mario Galaxy 2 has performed very well (which we also knew). Is there a chance that either has performed better overall because of Shorts? Yes, but knowing the exact extent of that is really difficult. For now, we continue to invest in Shorts because we're hopeful it's a good long-term plan (but also because Juliette does a great job and they're just funny to watch, haha) At this point most Colosseum information is public (thankfully), but here's an exclusive tidbit of info: I'll be on Wheel of Fortune! (At least... tentatively!)

Questions: if someone offered you the right price will you sell your game library? Like GameCube games, When your car lease expired? Also will you consider getting a electric car when your current lease is up?
