Extra Life is over, and along with it, our biggest event of the year. I'll talk at length about it, and also look ahead to what the last two months may hold.

A huge congratulations to you both on such an amazing Extra Life! It has been incredible to watch the event evolve over the years into something truly spectacular. I remember the process of waiting for insurance for my surgery in May and how stressful it was so I hope you guys hear back soon. I hope some of my surgery/recovery tips were helpful! Just let me know if you have any other questions about the recovery process especially during a pandemic. You continue to be in my thoughts <3 -Caitlyn

While we're still waiting on scheduling (supposed to hear back this week), we've heard back from insurance, at least! I suspect there'll be some on-going talks with them going forward, and I'm hopeful that it won't delay any surgery dates. It looks like our hope of a November surgery was way too optimistic, though. Early 2021 seems much more likely. Thank you again for the tips, Caitlyn! Mal has been soaking up all the knowledge and first-hand experiences she can, and really appreciates it.

Once again I watched this video in the release window but procrastinated on commenting until the last minute 😅 This time I won’t rant as long though lol I’ve officially been a Patron for over 2 months now, the time has flown by but I am thankful for the community y’all have fostered, and like I said last month a particular highlight for me is game nights, they get me through my stressful work weekends 💙 My continued prayers (and rainbow bacon) for Mal’s health. Reading your replies here I see that it’s been pushed forward and my condolences for that, but glad that it will happen in the near future! I recently dealt with insurance issues myself and a delayed diagnosis in November, but I will hopefully get some results in December. Hope the same happens soon for Mal 💙 Another follow-up from last month, just wanna say I’m loving Pikmin 3! I’ll save my comments for the uploads and Discord though, as I don’t know much about the game myself (but probably more than BOTW lol) And just a quick congrats again on Extra Life! Tbh that was and probably will be my favorite weekend this entire year (congrats to myself for basically following through with my art goal for the event, while taking a... few liberties 😊) Shattering the goal was amazing from all of y’all, already looking forward to next year~ Thanks as always for appreciating my fan art, I can reassure you that they’re not going away anytime soon 😂 In conclusion, have a great last day of November, and hopefully I’ll comment on December’s video before Christmas 💙

Hey Becca! I saw your comment from last month when it came in, but I guess I forgot to respond in the bustle of things — just letting you know that I've read that one, too! It means a lot that you've enjoyed the community (and community game nights) so much! I feel like we have a good crowd all across the internet, but there's certainly something special about Discord. Just a lot of genuinely great people. There's not a lot of news to share regarding Mal yet, but I'll offer what I have in the next Patreon video (coming shortly, actually!). Insurance is a whole thing, but the process is moving forward. Glad you're loving Pikmin 3! It's been a breath of fresh air after Pikmin 2, and I'm happy there's so much additional content to the game — we'll have a fair bit to experience, even after the main campaign. Keep creating art, we love to see what you make! And certainly everyone loves seeing it on stream, too. Thanks for being awesome, and enjoy your December!
