Hey Stephen, I just wanted to layout the benefits and consequences to the endings of the Nuka World DLC. Whatever you do, It really falls down to who Grit is as a character. Based on what I have witnessed in terms of Grit’s character, he is an inherently selfish man. He is a leech who needs people to care about him and like him, and can’t stand having no one, presumably because of how he lost everything the day the bombs dropped. He is willing to do shady things to keep his friends alive. (Like in the Far Harbor DLC). If you complete Open Season, you will purge all of the raiders. However, I do not picture him as a power hungry person or a raider. I remember you chose not to do the Brotherhood side quests that involved shaking down farmers for food, which shows that however selfish Grit Jones May be, he has a moral compass, and is unwilling to be a raider. The Operators, The Pack and The Disciples are some of the worst raiders in the Fallout Universe. Another point supporting the raider route is that Grit does not really care about the Minuteman Settlements. He built them up sure, but he very rarely helps them when they need help or help them when they need more resources or beds. Does Grit really care about these settlements? How bothered would Grit be if they suffered? A final point to support the Open Season ending is Grits relationship with Preston. He was the first friend Grit made in the new world, and supporting the raiders means he will hate you forever.

Hi Stephen, I just wanted to drop you a line not necessarily related to the video. I think if you find a day, maybe a Sunday that you have off, it would be really nice if you record one of Steve's life experience stories. The last time I remember you doing so was in 2017, when you recorded a story or two about his time reading meters. I know you've wanted to start recording more so you have the footage, but it hasn't been top of mind I'm sure. I hope you enjoyed China. Take care!

Hey James! While it's been a while since Fallout 4 has actively been worked on, I have plans for the rest of the series, taking into account everything that's happened and who I feel Grit truly is. The last few episodes are already planned, it's just a matter of finding the time to work on them. Once I get vlogs caught up again (hopefully soon!), I'll be focusing on Fallout once again.

Thanks, Brandon. This actually pops into my head all the time, and there's a strange feeling of guilt for having not done it yet. I get a similar experience when I think about all the photos I've scanned and how I wanted to go through them with my mom, but haven't yet. I desperately want to record more stories from my dad, before I'm unable to. Balancing everything in life is remarkably difficult, but making time for these sorts of things is really important for everyone, myself included. I haven't mentioned it, but right now he's actually recovering from pneumonia, so maybe once he's better I'll get a chance to hear some more stories. I know the vlog really appreciated the time he told some.
