What are wings?? Also Hunt Render WIP (Patreon)

I just realised there's a dick outline. I haven't gotten any work in that area yet so don't look too closely!

Anyway hello!! Update time! I've cranked up the saturation and made decent progress on his adorable hunky face.

Now... it's time for me to tackle the wings. Oh lordy. I've only painted feathered wings twice and mate WINGS are crazy? They're surprisingly complex and I'm still working out the best way to tackle them. With painting ive found that Everything has a trick to it, a base logic you can use to draw it confidently and freehand variations but gosh dang wings are... tricky to get.
So this is basically me just trying to put something down on paper to see if it sticks, while studying references of real birds and other artists renditions of malachim. Fascinating.
