Throwback: Zippy Zebras (Patreon)

In today's throwback, we get to explore some concept art about the zebras of Africa, Abasi, Kafil and Hazina!

Their designs changed so much throughout development, and were among the last to be finalized, particularly because I just couldn't settle on a good stripe pattern. However, the shape of their heads and their personalities were already established from very early on - except for Abasi, who deserves his own development spotlight.

Here, you can see all three zebras loosely sketched out. Can you recognize which one is which, even without the stripes? :D

Also, at this time, all the zebras had names starting with the letter "K": there was Kafil, then Kiume (who later became Fadhili, and finally Abasi) and Kike (who changed name to Itanya first, and later to Hazina). I changed the names because the zebras already looked similar, and there was no need to confuse the readers further with names all starting with the same letter XD
