"If I could have just
one wish, I would
go back to who I was,
yesterday, and I'd say
my goodbyes to you.
If my feelings stay
the same, and do
not change or fade away,
just meet me
at our favorite cherry tree."

Here we are.

I knew this moment would come sooner rather than later, but for what it's worth, I didn't want it to end in 2020 lol.

But this is it. My first big, completed project. Chakra ran for a respectable 13 years, from 2008 to 2021 (yes I'm counting this hahah!)

When I started this comic all the way back in 2008, I never would have thought it would accompany me for a huge chunk of my life, nor that it would gain any remote amount of popularity. I had started a couple projects around that time, but all of them were halted after a couple pages. Chakra was different.
From the moment I completed the first chapter, I knew I had embarked on something special. Something childish, cliché, over the top and unoriginal, but special nonetheless.

I'm not gonna lie, making this page got me so emotional and made me tear up. When I added the words "the end" at the bottom right, I got literal chills. On one end, I am so proud and relieved to have completed this story.
On the other, this has been such a huge part of my youth and I refuse to believe this has ended.

If you enjoy the comic, don't worry - Chakra is not going to be forgotten! I am hoping to make a little something to celebrate the completion of the comic, and to give the story a proper sendoff. Moreover, Chakra-related art will continue to be posted, especially here on Patreon so stay tuned!

Moreover from this day on, Africa will update on a weekly basis, every Wednesday.

What will come after Chakra then? I am already at work on a couple new ideas of mine, and Azarian Stories will definitely gain more of a spotlight now that I have a bit more time for it. :)
The short answer is, stay tuned! More stories are definitely coming your way, and why not, I'd love to be able to tackle digital comics for my next project!

Also, regarding printing. I had halted the printing of Chakra back in the day because I did not have the funds to do it before. But now that the situation is a bit more stable on that end, I'd love to be able to reprint all six chapters, and possibly have like a huge single edition with all the chapters together! What do you guys think? Would you be interested in a printed version? And if so, which would you prefer - six separate books or a single, big one?

But all in all, this has been such a wonderful, and rewarding experience, and I am so proud to have shared it with you all and so happy that you enjoyed it!

If you'd like, you're very welcome to post your thoughts/critiques/reviews of the story as a whole, now that it's complete. I'd love to know what you think about it overall :)

Here's to many more adventures with the Chakra Heroes to come over the years! Thank you for joining me on this journey, and get ready for many more! :)

its over! wow. im really grateful for the creation of this comic because it brought me to you arven! what a brilliant story, loved every bit of it and it served a part of my teenagehood. honestly im not sure which i would prefer, 6 books or 1. both dont bother me very much i like both ideas, but also if i can be selfish for just a moment, 6 would probably be more expensive than 1. i'd still buy all 6 but it'd be over a long period of time. so in conclusion, either works for me really. sad to this comic end but it'll never truly be gone. but im excited to see what you'll be working on next. never stop being awesome mate.

This was such a good ending. I did not expect such a bitter sweet one but I really like it. Also I had a theory I wasn’t sure of, but are they the ancestors/ the original of the canine warriors from the games?
