Time for more personal works <3

Today, six years ago (2018), I left my job at a pharmacy and began to work as a freelance artist full time. It's been a great ride, full of highs and lows, and I still wouldn't change a thing despite everything. Through it all, it's important to remember to do your absolute best, to reach for the stars, and to not let go of your dreams.

After all this time, there is so much I still want to experiment with art-wise, especially with traditional media. This painting is something I've wanted to try for the longest time. It was done using Liquitex Acrylic inks mixed with iridescent medium to create a sparkling effect (it's not very visible on the scanned file but the original is really shiny <3). The tiger's body on the other hand, is painted with Musou Black varnish, which is an ultra black paint similar to Vantablack. It makes the shiny effect of the paint really stand out <3

This past month was... tough. To say the least. And for the most part, it still is.
