WIP #1 Map 71 (Map Introduction)Updated with Flat Colour 12/03 (Patreon)

Hey Folks,

Sorry for the delay in WIP, my injury took a little turn for the worse but I am recovering once again!

Today we have the near complete line work for map 71. This map came from the suggestions made by Chibbin Noble patrons. Loving the suggestions coming through so far, I think I still have one more suggestion to complete for this month. So that means there is still time to put in more suggestions!

I still need to finish the following tasks in the linework phase

• Building up the foliage on the trees
• Adding in more twigs and branches
• Create more undergrowth in the southern part of the map.
• Add in vine fence (Will be interesting to be play with!)
• Decide if I want to define the river (top half of map) in the line work or leave it until I start the colouring.

Once I have dealt with the above tasks I can move onto colouring this map.

Since this map is going to be a snowy map, I am thinking I might just create a temperate forest first and add in seasonal effects afterwards. Though I may change my mind, which I tend to do often as I work maps.

Give me your input below, let me know what you think of the map so far, if you have any questions I am always happy to answer them.

I should have this map completed by Thursday the latest and I also have some basic concept work for maps 72 to 74. If folks would like to see them let me know! (They are very scribbly and abstract).

Update - 12/03/19
Hey Folks

Most of the linework has been completed, just small details need to be added. I will add these details in as I work on the Flat colouring.

This part for me normally takes the longest. I tend to pick out and change various line details as I fill them with colour. Expect that map to morph slightly, I should have the flatwork stage completed by tomorrow (Wednesdays)

I understand folks may have the desire to see more variants on this map (Seasonal variations). I am happy to add these variants but this does mean it will cut into the release time of other maps. 

This means a small delay in new maps if I am to develop more variants. I hope this is a acceptable compromise and I am always happy to work on variants, if that is what you lovely folks desire! Let me know in the comment section below!

Once the linework and flat colouring is complete, I will move onto shading and tone.
