If youre so sheltered and mentally weak to watch an episode of Star Trek Voyeur without being triggered, you need to sell your tv

I appreciated the discussion and echo kudos to Lisa Klink for sharing the context behind the plot as well as they ways in which the episode hasn't aged well. As much as I agree with the conclusions around "believe the woman", I think a parallel dynamic was overlooked that also makes this age poorly. Unfortunately, in this episode, it reads in our more modern context as if the man's life is ruined by a false allegation of sexual assault, an alarmist narrative which is often weaponized and used to push back against women as a reason to not come forward. Statistics show that men's lives are seldom actually ruined by even genuine allegations, but this plot unintentionally amplifies that fear, which is what I find so difficult about it.
