Loretta Lane

7 definitely has Borg components regulating her various biological systems. Remember when Icheb donated one of his components to save her because hers was failing? And if you remember she also has some visible implant structure on her right arm as seen on the holodeck when playing with Janeway. And those are just the examples we know about.

Excellent full-crew episode with a Chakotay emphasis. Although - a spear? Mmmkay. The group dream happened when Chakotay went lucid dreaming and ‘woke up’ the first time (but not really). I liked the insights from the personal dreams the best. Robbie, Janeway gave an ‘explainer’ why Jeffries tubes were hard, it wasn’t that goofy. I agree with Garrett- nice bed head/ wake-up acting. And I loved ‘the boys’ in the mess hall at the end. A unique event. For Your Consideration:: The modern shift to fewer episodes , with serialization, has really improved character consistency IMO. Voyager’s ‘single episode’ mandate is good for syndication but we get some fairly inconsistent writing for Capt Janeway IMO. Of course she’s the star and each may see her differently. Also the high concept episodes are more frequent than TNG due to no Star Fleet safety net. But if Voyager was being written today I thing: 1) J/C would have hooked up. Modern TV viewers are less patient with the long-tease 2) We’d have more consistent ‘technology’ rules. It was ‘death before giving out tech!’ In S1-3. In Concerning Flight, the rules are much more relaxed (admittedly for more advanced species). 3) The appearance of deviations from the Prime Directive would be treated more carefully (like rescuing B’Elana rather than a lobotomy). And the rules for pre-Warp vs Warp capable need to be laid out.
