The Delta Flyers is a weekly Star Trek: Voyager rewatch and recap podcast hosted by Garrett Wang and Robert Duncan McNeill. Each week Garrett and Robert will rewatch an episode of Voyager starting at the very beginning. This week’s episode is Displaced. Garrett and Robbie recap and discuss the episode, and share their insight as series regulars. This week they are joined by the writer of Displaced, Lisa Klink, for a short interview.

Displaced:
Voyager crew members begin disappearing one by one, being replaced by aliens.

"He was not a reliable lizard" might now be my favourite quote from any podcast, ever. I'll now use it out of context regularly.

Len

I think the aliens were not supposed to be perceived as a threat at first. Hence everyone’s ho hum reaction to their “appearances”

Elisabeth Westner

This was a wonderful episode for me, because my friends call me Lizzard so naturally whenever Robbie said "lizard" I figured he was talking to me. FTR, I am a reliable Lizzard.

Elisabeth Westner

Yeah, but WHY weren't they perceived as a threat? I mean, sure, they acted like they didn't know what was happening so that obv threw the Voy crew off, but when the first guy appeared out of nowhere, T&B should have been at least somewhat alarmed.
