The Delta Flyers is a weekly Star Trek: Voyager rewatch and recap podcast hosted by Garrett Wang and Robert Duncan McNeill. Tom's growth from "walking hormone" to a monogamous relationship with someone who challenges him was a testament to both the writing and RDM's portrayal of the character. As others have said, this was telegraphed beautifully in previous episodes but not excessively. A great balance that made the coupling and it's evolution throughout the show very satisfying to watch.
