Episode 20... Investigations, one of the best all time Voyagers! Lovely to rewatch and have you guys talk it through 😎 ...I think my do over would be to make it a double length episode? Worth a movie in itself. “Tom” got out and back pretty seamlessly 😉

Jeremiah Brown

I agree with Garrett, looking forward to next week a lot Deadlock it one of my favorites.

Christopher Collins

Deadlock is one of the best episodes of Voyager and is my favorite episodes of season 2 that I rewatch the most from season 2. The episode Deadlock is the TNG Cause and Effect, DS9 Starship Down or TNG Disaster equivalent of Voyager.

So much fun listening to you two not remember this episode! It always felt so pivotal for Tom Paris to me... Sort of the moment when he really goes from rebel to trusted member of the crew... Janeway and Tuvok wouldn't have trusted him for this if they didn't truly see his better qualities. Also... I'm finally caught up and now it's sad to have to wait a week for the next episode!!!

Listening to y’all has been great the past 6wks or so, but WATCHING is even better! I joined Patreon today and I’m so glad I did. While listening to “learning curve” ep, things took a dark turn for our nation. I listened as PBS NewsHour reporter, Lisa Desjardins was inside the Capitol Building while front door glass was being broken by protesters who then pushed their way into our nation’s capitol. Anyhoo, thank you for making an event out of these episodes. I know we see you two, but we know Elise and Rebecca are both working to make this happen for us and I want to say thank you to everybody who helps produce the podcasts and videos for us. This moment in American history reminds me of something said about Tolkien’s work - and I think it applies to us as ST Voyager fans: Tolkien’s writing does not help us escape from reality, so much as it helps us escape INTO reality (I will find the writer and quote them exactly). The stories in The Voyager and the storylines for all the very pretty The Voyager characters help all of us process our own lives and try to be better people. I’m grateful for all your work! Cheers from a fellow Southerner living in Virginia

I agree that Voyager has been a great companion for the past year.

Lisa Minnesma

And I agree that watching the video's is even better! I look forward to these videos every week! Whoever thought of videoing it was brilliant!! It's like rewatching the show with a Voyager community/family!

Obi Loi

Funny that Megan made the same Dad joke I made ages ago while watching TNG. Whenever Picard would say "Fire at will" I always wanted someone to take out a phaser and shoot Commander Riker. (Just set on stun, mind you. I was not a big Riker fan but that doesn't mean I wanted him dead.) Alas, they made very few Dad jokes on TNG.

Also, I just rewatched "Thirty Days," in which we get to see the Delaney sisters for the first (and only, I think?) time and I thought it was pretty hilarious that Harry likes Megan Delaney. I guess Garrett/Harry is a Megan kind of guy. :-)

William Power

Thanks for your sympathy with Fire At Will

Dee

Love how Garrett is so familiar with Robbie's chest hair pattern over time. 🤣

Jenners

My family has been making that Fire at Will joke re Commander Riker for years.

Elisabeth Westner

Ha!!! I guess it's a pretty obvious one but it still makes me chuckle all these years later.

Horatio Moradi

I do the accent thing too! For me it started as an English guy trying to fit in better living in Topeka, Kansas.
