Baelin’s Route was indeed my gateway drug. I’d never heard of VLDL until someone posted BL on Facebook. Now I’m totally smitten. Smitten, damn you!

I actually don't like Baelin's route despite all the quality and stuff. It's too simple like for kids like fairytale. You don't want to rewatch it. But I kinda get why it was the best decision. You don't want to risk such amount of sums and work putted into it. It's sturdy safe net to be likeable by almost anyone no matter fan or not. If someone showed me it firstly and said some youtubers made it I would be interested what else they have. It is working it's great first film and an important milestone.

I disagree. I have rewatched it a few times. Sometimes the simple stories are the best ones.

I'm always fascinated by the work that goes on behind a finished product that I enjoy, whether it's a film like this, or a work of art, a book, anything really. And it's always much more complicated and time consuming than it appears. It gives me so much more appreciation for the end result.
