Pride special: my complete discography! (Part 2) (Patreon)

Hello guys, when I started working on this discography post yesterday I couldn't imagine it was going to be so much work! But here it is, the next half of my discography and videography for you to discover / enjoy. 

Let me add that these two lists are a selection, not all of it. I've not included books, TV, remix releases of my songs where I didn't do any remix myself, neither most of my releases as executive producer (this tittle is when you do all the paperwork, funding, management and logistics of a project but you don't intervene as an artists providing new content for that release), compilations from other companies, re releases, lyric videos, or library videos, etc.

It was also a nice coincidence that I had to stop after 2008. That was the year I decided to quit music and get a regular job. I still had to finish mixing the "Efectos Secundarios" album (which I included later yesterday), but that was only engineering, I didn't touch the piano for three years until one day I sat down and wrote "Drive Me Away" and "Encontré Un Amor" the next days. That was early 2011 and I decided to call Coral Segovia to record a demo with her voice. I didn't want to get back to the industry, but as I told you before, by that time I had quit my job because of migraines, was writing my novel, and by October I was unaware my brain had begun to malfunction because of a med I was having. I don't know why I decided to open my own record label and turn down an offer I had from Sony ATV to write songs for them. Seems like a crazy move, but I did it. I spent most of 2011 until June 2012 producing stuff to be released the following months. 

My ex Carlos & I the day we signed the record label incorporated papers, toasting for it.

We opened the label on June with a first single, and on July I woke up one day unable to speak or think... as I told you on this post. That was a mess but I had to keep things going, so with the help of my ex and friends we kept the label working and nobody knew what was really happening until 2015.

If I could give an advice to anybody having to deal with mental issues it would be start from the basics, identify the enemy within (or as Rupaul calls it, your inner saboteur). Go to therapy, tell your doctor you want to identify it. In my case I discovered that I had built a saboteur inner voice that did the job even when my mother was not around (even saying things she would have ever said). That voice was creepy and cruel. It took me sometime but I managed to deactivate it. It's not that I haven't had to deal with depression or trauma since, but it gets easier when you are not undermining yourself. 

Learn to love yourself. I did that through photography, that worked form me. It may seem stupid, but every pic I took I learned to see deeper, to strip myself of everything and find my own truth. For me taking off my clothes was a symbol of something deeper. Find yours.

I also found refuge in my work, I have to admit I've been and sort of still am hyperactive. But it's like I'm searching for something, polishing my message. For me what I'm doing now it's always better than what I had done before. I still haven't reached that point where I think I've said it all. It may happen after my last album, but as you can see, you can never say never.
