Hello again my dear patrons, as I promised in my last post, here's an alternative cut of the "Beautiful Nothing" music video featuring Jeremy Morse and lots of friends who joined us that August day on a rented swimming pool in Guadalajara, Mexico.

This is the second cut Eduardo Lujan did (can't find the first but I'll share it with you when I do because it has some additional footage we never used), the one I used as guide to do the final cut you can see on Youtube, and that I'm expecting to finish re editing and remastering after I deliver the next album's book to Amazon. I didn't use this cut and decided to redo it myself because I didn't quite like the color, the special effects and the sound effects he added. Now it looks better (for me) but still a little more TV than music video than what it should. what do you think?

Have a great Sunday!

This was EXACTLY what I needed to see this morning, and it brought back some really great memories of that day! This was my favorite song from "Songs For A Better Future" and from the first time I heard it I fell in love with the beat and the lyrics (Summer is my favorite season) and I immediately began having visions in my head about what a video for "Beautiful Nothing" would look like. I asked Benjamin if I could write up a sort-of screenplay for it, and to my surprise he agreed! I sent him a three page treatment (I almost tried to draw a storyboard, but THAT would have been a disaster, Ben can tell you, I ain't no good at drawing!) In the end with some tweaks we came up with a workable storyline and I absolutely loved the way it turned out. This version is also a lot of fun, it really makes me wistful for summer and pool time with friends. Hopefully we are on our way back to being able to do that again! Thank you for sharing this Ben! xoxo -J-Mo :)

Awesome version. Lots of J Mo’s choreography moves in here. And the coach clothes! I still dance those moves he taught us on YouTube. Looks like such a fun beautiful party. Reminds of better times that will come again. Hugs n rubs from James.
