Based on race to the Edge Astrid. So here we got my shot at a wedgie dragon. Look I was going more for practicality than for brute force. 

Steady back legs for support during the victim struggles. I made it so it needs to move his arms to keep fly that gives for really muscular and flexible arms, that can reach around the victim easy.

Arms and tail have special grappling hands that are rigid but at the same time have in them electromagnetic hair palms like those of the geckos. 

Why all that? That combined with the muscular arms and the steady stance means the victim cant be released at least the dragon wants to. 

The smaller size why? Why not the size of a wedgiesaurus? Practicality. It can fly anywhere, it human size means it can snuck up anywhere. And it can fly up to a rider land on the dragon and pull the panties of the raider for a quick attack.

Funny fact it collects the victims underwear to make a nest. They usually have a "favorite", who's underwear they always go for and they can keep this attachment for decades extending to their whole life... So yeah Astrid's butt is basically in for loooooooong bond with this girl.
