Important post about NSFW stuff (Patreon)

Hi everyone, thank you to be my patrons.

I know most of you is here only to see the artwork of Nemesis and I want to clarify some things.

Now I know better how Patreon works. What do I mean? I've read some stuff about how pledges works and how should I give my rewards. As suggested, rewards should be sent when patrons are actually charged of the pledge they made. As long as so many people come here just to see nudes, I'd like to consider the NSFW stuff a reward for now.

In two days I got like more than 35 patrons. Now I have exactly 29 patrons. When I found that out I was like "Why patrons decreased? Is it possible to join and then leave like nothing happened?".

Yeah, it's possible and that's pretty shitty. I've read about people who had like 200$ per month and then got paid less then 100$, just because some patrons joined to clean out their gallery and then leave. That's pretty sad, for me as for the patrons who actually pay to see my extra content and help me.


"So what you gonna do about it? Everything in Internet become public anyway."


Yep I know, but I want to try something that you may not like and I'm anticipating my excuses for it. All my reward stuff will be avaiable in the first week of the next month, when there is the actual charge of the pledges. As soon as the first month will be charged, I'll start doing all the rewards I promised. That means NSFW stuff avaiable, Monthly artwork poll, HQ artwork selection and free commission giveaways.I just want to keep who actually is here to support me and my work, the people who I should be grateful for. People who is here just to leak my stuff is not welcome. I don't want do be rude to you or what, but I don't want to see patrons doing this action. It's unfair for me and for who is here to help me doing what I love and you love, as supporters.

Stay strong and enjoy your permanence! As soon as i get used to Patreon, everything will work as I promised. From tomorrow on I'll upload WIPs and sketches, like I said.

That sucks, I kinda dont want to wait that long. But to be fair this is more Patreons fault for the way they charges people. I'll stay the month, and after recognizing the art youve done, I'll probably stay for longer. Lastly, won't it be possible for people to join on the 2nd and see all the content anyways, without paying? (Jw)

I think this is entirely warranted on your part; props to you for doing your best to foil those who cheat the system! I think Patreon should fix it so you don't get the bonus stuff until you actually pay. I personally just love your art (and Smite) and want to support you, which is why I do love the idea behind this site. The NSFW is just a nice little bonus ;D keep doing you, and I look forward to your future works!

Thank you for the comment, Joshua. Yeah I thought about that too and maybe I found a good way to fix that. For people who charged me, I'll send them trough private message the artwork without my watermarks. The new patrons instead can only see the nsfw with the watermark. It sounds fair enough, right? Maybe for the firsts 2 or 3 months I can even share the nsfw artworks only trough pm, but maybe it's too much. Anyway I'm sorry for making you wait and thank you for understanting. I never thought Patreon worked that way, and yeah it kinda sucks.

Thank you Dusty. As I thought, one patron already left after seeing the post (we are still 29, but just because a new one joined). Edit: the one who joined actually was the same guy that left, after he saw nothing on my gallery, in less than a hour.

The more you know: who is going to leave after knowing about that, will be blocked if he makes a pledge on me again next month. I'll write down every single name of patrons who leave. Sorry for being a policeman, but for the firsts months I'm going to try this system and see how it goes.

This is a good idea, my only concern is how it will handle my payment method (I use nonrefillable debit cards for internet purchases), and with the notorious issues with Paypal on Patreon it is my only option as I don't use credit. I guess we'll see how it plays out next month.

Thanks for the comment, Jon. Unfortunatly for creators who make nsfw stuff too, there is no paypal support. That's awful, but unfortunately I can't do nothing about that. Maybe I can share the nsfw stuff only with private messages, so the page can be a normal page (paypal supported) and the nsfw stuff will be avaiable only for who wants it. I've done only one artwork nsfw so far and I don't think I'm going to do more than one nsfw artwork per month.

You do you man, I'm new to this site so don't know how it works either but I figured some people would just come and go. I figured it's just the best platform for people to show their appreciation without commissioning. The NSFW stuff is a bonus (That's what I keep telling myself, at least...)
