The NEW Glass Cannon Network Subscription Service is Open for Business! (Patreon)

As most of you are no doubt aware, we have been working on a new subscription service to replace our Patreon. This service has been in beta testing with literally thousands of our bravest members of the Naish for the past month and we feel confident that it is ready to go into 1.0 RIGHT NOW!!

The decision to move to a new service was not made lightly. We have taken the lessons learned from our many years on Patreon to create a more focused and thoughtful Glass Cannon Network subscription service. This new service isn’t meant to be a carbon copy of what we are doing on Patreon. It is a streamlined, upgraded and improved service across the board.

The most obvious improvement you will see when moving to the new service is how we are handling our podcast feeds. Gone are the days of one big “super feed.” You will now get to individually subscribe to each show that is available at your plan level and have it automatically show up as its own feed in your podcast player of choice!

You will notice that there are some shows that were part of the Champagne Room feed that are no longer available as a subscriber exclusive show. Shows like Haunted City, Time For Chaos and Voyagers of the Jump, for example, are currently available ad-free on their own public feeds, so their inclusion was redundant. For a full list of the shows that you will now need to subscribe to outside of the subscription service, please check out this FAQ which answers this as well as many other questions.

You will also notice that the plans and prices have changed on the new service. Because of your loyal support over the years, you will all be able to continue with your legacy pricing from Patreon at whatever tier you are currently at when switching over to the new service. Please be sure to see what’s being offered at each new plan when you make the move over as you may decide it’s time for an upgrade!

We hope that you are as excited to experience this new service as we are to show it to you! To begin the process of switching over, please follow these instructions TO THE LETTER:

First: Read the FAQ.

Second: Seriously, read the FAQ. It’s gonna save all of us a lot of time and energy.

Third: Click the link below and log in with your Patreon email address. In order to receive the legacy pricing for the new plans and/or receive credit for your annual Patreon subscriptions transferring over, you MUST use the email address associated with your Patreon account. If you don't, you won't see the option to be grandfathered in.

Fourth: Reconnect to Discord using the link you receive in the welcome email after you transfer over. (The welcome email is looooong so you may have to hit “read more” at the bottom of it to see the Discord link.) We also recommend that you log in and out of Discord in order for changes to take effect and to see the new channels. If you haven’t been on the Discord before, it is a great community that nerds out on all things GCN 24/7! It can also be a great resource if you are having any technical issues or have a question about the new service. The pinned messages in the beta test feedback channel give additional context to the FAQ.

Finally: Cancel your Patreon. Those days are OVER.

Thank you so much for your years of supporting us on Patreon with your subscriptions. It has allowed us to grow in more ways than you could ever imagine and this new service is a major step forward in taking the Glass Cannon Network to even greater heights. See you on the other side Naish!
