First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my cold black heart for supporting our podcast and donating to our Patreon. We are overwhelmed to say the least at the outpouring of love in the past 24 hours.

That being said, as I am sure you are all aware by now: we are stupid.

For some reason, in all the preparations we did in creating the Patreon, it never even crossed our mind to think about international shipping rates for all our international fans that wanted to support the podcast at a tier where the rewards involve the physical mailing of items. Since we are trying to build the podcast up by making money to do more new and exciting things, spending all of the Patreon money on shipping a handful of bottlecaps every three months to Kuala Lumpur would be insane!

So our options were 1. not make international shipping available or 2. offer an option where international fans can support the pod and still get their rewards, but just pay the difference in shipping. Since we have such unbelievable international fans, offering option two was a no-brainer for us.

What we have decided is that international patrons at the Bottlecap! $15 tier will have the option of pledging $20 to get their bottlecaps three times a year and patrons at the $25 and up tiers can pay an extra $10 to get their tee-shirts and bottlecaps throughout the year.

To be honest, I feel HORRIBLE even having to ask for more money since you have already been so generous, so please know you are welcome to keep your pledge at the same level, raise it or lower it as you see fit, but if you want the actual physical items, we just need you to pay for the shipping since the only other option available to us is to not allow international shipping at all and that's just lame.

Thank you again for everything that you do, have done and continue to do to make this podcast as popular as it is. YOU are the main reason we still do this every week, because having to spend an hour each week with Joe is pure torture as I'm sure you can imagine.

Best,
Troy Lavallee
