There's only one thing for it now... Punch all of Magnimar in the stomach, it's the only way to be sure.

Alternate advice for Skid re Dynamic Lighting: * Make a copy of the map. * Go to the Dynamic Lighting layer * Press CTRL+A to select all of the lines pre-added by Paizo, and press Delete This way you get a perfectly usable map which doesn't have all of the pre-added DD lines. You can then use Polygon reveal as usual to control player perceptions. (Also set Global Lighting on, but to a low level to handle explored areas in the party's wake). Reason for this change: the best thing about Dynamic Lighting is the gradual light shading. The Dynamic Lighting lines (OTOH) are an optional extra that doesn't really work well at this time. Even when a GM knows what he is doing, the DD lines will give a very raw black shadow effect on screen which actually *reduces* player immersion. It's ok to remove them.

I can't say I agree with this advice. If you follow this, you are effectively removing the Dynamic Lighting. If that's your choice, then just go to the Dynamic Lighting tab of the map Settings and turn it off. You can reactivate it later if you choose. My advice would be to follow the link given by GM_gigolo and spend half an hour learning how to manipulate the Dynamic Lighting layer - DL is a really good resource for a GM and really easy to use once you are used to it. Embrace it and it will pay dividends!
