Diversity of thought is not the same as diversity of appearance or background. Thought can be changed, adjusted, re-inforced etc. I don't believe Troy's message was issued due to a call from any "diverse" communities demanding more representation in their business, that would have made it a little more political. It was issued because people with little "diverse thought" were saying ignorant things about some of the guests they all ready had on. I feel that if those comments hadn't been made, we would have seen what was going to happen rather then hear about it. As a business owner Troy was simply addressing his customers with what was coming up in the future... opportunities for more creative collaboration bringing us more and interesting stories.
