I picked up the logic behind opposed rolls in this system. Whoever is more skilled has a higher chance to win, which is represented by the higher of the two rolls underneath their thresholds winning. For example, if someone had a 20 in a fight skill and was fighting someone with an 80, they both have the same % chance to roll under 20. However, if the one rolls a 19 and the other rolls a 79, that represents both 'succeeding' but the innate ability of the person with 80 wins out here.
