Idle pose (unfinished) and a joke gardening animation.  This is a ongoing joke between me and the programmer about over sexualized mundane activities. Such as gardening and almost twerking.  That being said, I find it quite hilarious and am actually debating on throwing it in, lol.  What can I say? I'm a natural deviant.

Wrote up some quest details the other day and the programmer is throwing quest variations into quest selection.  We are on the verge of achieving the initial gameplay loop I believe but some harder decisions need to be made. I'm struggling with designing generic menus, lol. I'll draw booties bouncing all day, but give me a menu to design and you might get it in a few months.

Also, designing an economy. who knew that would be hard.  Throw gold at the player and let them buy shit.  couldn't be that bad!?

We've designed more particles and hit sprites.  There is now more impact when hitting enemies.  The programmer is constantly making iterations on our infrastructure to more easily add things in the future.  Hopefully in the not-too-distant future everything I throw at him will be essentially drag and drop. As best I can understand him.

"Over sexualized mundane activities" sounds awesome lol, but I guess the level of fanservice would depend on how far you're all willing to go. I would imagine that making menus is an art form within itself, kind of like how assets and backgrounds can require dedicated artists, so it's even more impressive to read that you're working on that as well. You and your programmer must be putting in a lot of serious work, I would imagine a small team would have a lot of tasks on their hands but it's pretty inspiring to see the progress that's being made on this game. I'm hopeful for your team's success!

lol yeah, I have to contain myself at every turn. The game is on the silly side and this may have a place. especially if it's an alternative 1 in 1000 animation or something. haha. And yes, absolutely. There are so many things that are hard with making a game. Lots of stuff I just simply never thought about. There is definitely an artistry to simple easily navigated menus that don't look horrible. And much appreciation!
