Time to start posting gameplay of the game me and my buddy have been working on-and-off on for the last 5 years or so. What started off as a what-if scenario turned into a passion project that we consistently put more and more time into each consecutive year. There isn't a ton to derive from this combo as far as gameplay goes beyond there being combos and air juggles, and that's intentional. We'll get into depth a bit later.
Everything is still in flux. I want to add more hit effects and more blood eventually.
So, this game is found somewhere in between a beat-em up and a fighting game. The game is mostly a beat em up but shares a good portion of dna with a fighter. That of the 2d plain, an arena and it having a healthy dose of defensive options to combat your opponents. For the first showing, I decided to show off the more flashy offensive side of combat.
