Artifice Happy Ending (Patreon)

Howdy, everyone!

So, while my artists are taking a week to recharge their batteries (and build our buffer of pages), I thought this would be a great time to send out another pin-up to y'all!

This is called the Happy Ending Print, and it features Jeff and Deacon from my first graphic novel, Artifice (which you can still read for free.)

The art was actually done by my Artifice co-creator, Winona Nelson, way back when I had my first Kickstarter (for printing the Artifice books). While I've always been happy with how that graphic novels ends, even I have to admit that the concluding page is a bit abrupt, so I wanted to create something that proved that our heroes had their happy ending. I had a vision of our heroes sharing a sweet kiss as they rocketed away from Noneco Corporation to freedom and I hired Winona to create the art for that, and I'm really happy with the digital painting she came up with!

I've shared many pin-ups from my previous Kickstarters with y'all, but I realized that I hadn't shared this one yet. And it's actually one of my most favorites. (I think the rendering of the kiss is really beautiful. And I especially love the colors overall—so vibrant!)

There was a time when I commissioned pin-ups for y'all fairly often. With the pandemic, support here got reduced, so I wasn't able to afford to keep doing that. But I think it's a wonderful way to say thank you to y'all, and I'd like to try to do this more often, like maybe every few months. And if support picks up, then I'd do it more often.

So, I'd really like to get some suggestions of pin-up artists who you love, including NSFW artists, who you also think might be open to commissions. While I probably wouldn't be able to tempt someone making $20,000 a month on Patreon, I do pay a good rate to all my artists, so I think it would be a good experience all around. And it's always fun to see another artist's take on our characters.
