It’s a fair question.

Please note: These are work-in-progress colors. Vero should get me the final colors soon.

So!

So! The Wolf believes Cory can help save Karthak’s Mom. No pressure! But Cory thinks he’s not up to it.

Will the Blood Wolf understand where he’s coming from and go instead? If she does, what will Cory do to get home? Is there any reason they can’t all go together? For sure, Cory would miss the bird if they didn’t get more time together, right?

Tune in this Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there! :D

Not sure if it's me tonight but I'm have a hard time following the conversation flow. I'm like wait wrong box, wrong spot, how is this suppose to go. Since it was an OZ type page I felt it was kind of funny on my part. I'm blaming my alerts that woke me up to my muddled brain.

camelotcrusade

I hope the Oz reference comes up again, Alex! Maybe some red shoes, lol? 👠

camelotcrusade

Not just you, I had to slow down to digest it all, too -- it was a wordy page.

AlpineBob

Something Cory should keep in mind is collateral damage is mostly an issue in inhabited areas; while he's on this path, damaging the surroundings will generally be a negligible problem. Barring setting off avalanches on oneself. Also, I believe it should be "whence you came" in panel 3,. though given the wolf is probably not a native speaker, I probably shouldn't mention it. *EDIT* No, wait, I forgot that even though I reading English, they aren't speaking it. Maybe the translation provided by the bite is less than perfect...

Still really enjoying Honest Almo!

Can't make a cake without breaking some eggs. Also, the damage was collateral from the fight, no?

alexwoolfson

Ha! I don't think Cory is going to let the parallels go easily, camelotcrusade. :)

Good point about the collateral damage, AlpineBox. :) As for the translation, it's based off of Cory's understanding. And "whence" is not a word he'd be familiar with, so unless the creature he is listening to is deliberately trying to be formal, the bite translates words into the type of English that would sound natural to him.
