You've done it again: THUMBNAIL UPDATES! (Patreon)

You did it again! You blasted through yet another Milestone Goal, the $5500/month Thumbnail Page one! So now, in addition to sharing the pencils for each new update, I'll also be including Adam's 1st pass "thumbnail sketches" -- the very first bit of art I received based on my script pages. Sometimes the final pencils are very close to what we start out with, sometimes they are quite different. But it's *always* interesting to see how these pages come together. And I'm excited to now be able to share that with you! And with the next Milestone Goal at $6000/month, I'll start sharing my original script pages too, so you'll be able to see the process from end-to-end. Get the real behind-the-scenes look at what's happening in the comic! In other news, in order to make rent this month, I've had to say yes to a big day-job project. 10 hour days, post-work emails and phone calls, the whole enchilada. I'm grateful to have the work, but right now even with keeping the minimum comics stuff running (urgent notes to artists, page updates, managing Kickstarter reward vendors, responding to urgent reader/Patron questions, etc.) I'm not getting much sleep right now. And some things (like notes to artists for future pages and any writing) are getting significantly delayed. It's feeling like if I'm not super-vigilant, things could go off the rails at any moment. So, I just have to say how deeply grateful I am to all of you for your incredible support. We're now over 3/4 of the way to me being able to turn down day-job work, just $1500/month away, and so for the first time, it's actually feeling possible that I might be able to afford to work on these comics full-time. Maybe even soon. And it's your amazing, generous support that's made that seem like a real possibility. You are all total super-heroes. I wish I could hug you all. :) More soon! Alex
