You did it! You blasted past another Milestone Goal! Y'all just blasted past $3500/month! That means that in just four weeks, we're now already halfway to me being able to support myself while I work on these comics full-time! That also means that I have a fun Valentine's Day gift for you: a colorful, Patreon-only wallpaper of the team, done "anime-style" by artist Julie Wright! Julie Wright is a a graduate from Columbus College of Art and co-creator to the fantasy-punk webcomic, Ianua. She also works as the colorist for Lora Innes’s “The Dreamer” and is the primary penciler for Eric Menge’s “Snow by Night". I met her when I was a guest at Nijicon in October, and I was impressed with her work. So, when I decided to change the Milestone Goals based on your feedback in the survey, I reached out to her to create something colorful that showed off the whole team. Something that would just be for Patrons -- like you! It's always fun to get another artist's take on our characters, and this is no exception. :) I've created a desktop wallpaper from her pin-up to add a little color to your computing. You can download that here: http://downloads.yaoi911.com/AMW_Comics_TYP-ETE-Anime-Team-Pinup_1600x1200.jpg I hope you enjoy Julie's work! Let me know what you think in the Comments. And what's next? Something totally awesome. If we hit $3750/month (less than $250 away!), all Patrons will get sent a short prose (non-comic) story written by me about how fan-favorite character Spooky Jones got his special cap and why he wears it everywhere. Have you ever wondered about that cap’s origin story? Trust me, it’s not what you think. And if we hit this goal, you’ll get to find out! And at $4000/month, Patrons who chose to receive the Special Digital Rewards will start being sent the fully nude, NSFW, Full Monty Kickstarter rewards, featuring the adult characters of The Young Protectors! (And the first of those rewards, "The Sexy Height Chart for the Guys" answers all kinds of questions you might have about how the guys measure up. I think you'll like it. ;) ) Thank you so much for your amazing support. With burning through my savings over the past year and having to turn down so much work to keep the comic updating, I haven't been sure how I'd be able to keep things going, to be honest. I'm not out of the woods yet, but with us being halfway there already with this Milestone Goal, it's like a huge weight is being lifted off my shoulders. And it's all because of you. I feel very grateful for what you're doing her to support me and The Young Protectors, and I'm going to keep looking for awesome ways to make being one of my amazing Patrons lots of fun for you. You are all super-heroes. :) More soon! Alex

It looks fantastic! As I came over to webcomics from Manga and Anime originally I totally love this :D the only one who looks a little different from normal is Paul but hey, it's not bad at all :D and really Alex WE have to thank YOU here! You kinda gambled with your savings, never knowing if or when you could get enough donations or payments to keep things going and you did it just for us fans, I'm actually happy to be able to do even just a little for YOU now :D

So glad you like it! I agree with you about Paul (Fluke) but the others definitely feel very much who they are, but with a totally different style. It was fun to do something different here. And thank you also for your very kind words. Those words (and your very generous support) are much appreciated. You're a total sweetheart. :)

Is that Flyboy or Dreamboy in the back? Not sure I like Fluke's style here (he looks... older? Bit balding?) Otherwise, love them all.

At first I thought it would be odd to see them in an anime/manga style, but this isn't actually too crazy-different! Julie did a great job as always!
