I'm not 100% certain you got that this whole episode was a giant spoof on the 2018 Brett Kavanaugh hearings. At least you didn't mention it as far as I could tell. In 2018, Trump nominated Kavnaugh as a candidate for a seat in the Supreme Court of the United States. During the nomination interview, Kavanaugh was accused or sexually assaulting a woman, with two more coming out later, and they had that whole public hearing about it. I don't recall what the outcome was, but Kavanaugh is currently serving on the Supreme Court of the United States, so.... Edit: oh, also that last bit was a reference to that time the simpsons were accused of being racist because of apu, the local indian supermarket owner. according to the guy who started the whole thing, he was just "a racist caricature and a funny accent", so, even though none of those claims were actually true, they permanently removed him from the show, just like south park did with hankey in this episode. ...modern society sucks -_-

If I recall, the people could not recall details and so nothing stuck. Given the amount of time it didn't click. Yeah... even though Mr Hankey is no longer *really* funny, he still did feature in a few episodes so no long time fans actually wanted him gone, we just.... sort of forgot about him. Remember Jesus? Yeah....
