I HAD a favorite Stone Ocean moment in this episode (the Speed-pocolypse, but honestly thinking it over the whole damn episode itself is my favorite Stone Ocean moment. Everything from the manga was done immense justice, they went all in on the animation and that cruel twist at the climax reminds me of that thing I said earlier about Pucci being a smart villain, thinking not one but TWO steps ahead of the one guy who's a threat to him. So much hype you almost forget about the mandatory Jojo bizarreness, Jolyne and Emporio being able to talk underwater for no reason. I know this universe functions on "rule of cool" and all but man was that weird. I guess Araki was just like "Fuck it, no one's gonna care. If I can draw a mobius strip I can draw a girl and a little boy talking underwater god damn it. I drew people turning into snails for crying out loud, fuck it. Water talking." That man has a stash somewhere, I will find it.
