Funny thing is about your concerns about potential cuts toward the beginning is that the anime has had plenty of content/conversation cuts ever since season 2, season 3 in particular is kind of infamous for the fact that the entire first half of it (the Royal Government arc) was very noticeably trimmed down and restructured to be more action packed. Of course the final product was still a coherent story, but once Attack on Titan is fully adapted I recommend checking out the manga if only just to see the differences in how certain arcs were handled, not as a reaction request or anything though, more like a “if you’re interested” sort of thing.
