There is a reason why Britan is not a part of Britannia. You see Code Geass history is different than our. Incredibly long story shorter. The colonial empire of Great Britan never collapsed BUT they lost a major war in Europe (kinda equivalent to WW1) and their mainland was conquered. In this kinda confusing way you have British Empire with all their colonys, capital in our verse US, but not British Isles, cuz these are part of IVth Reich...I mean EU xD (aaaand EU is what Naz...I mean germans want IT to be-just a country, and not what IT is in our world)

PS. aslo between S1 and S2 EU kinda collapsed and everything between Germany and Russia (Russia got fully conquered by Britania) is now Poland, who are Independent
