Hey Patrons!!

It's been an awesome month, hasn't it? It's my goal to approach every month in 2024 with the same amount of fervor that I've had for these first few songs of the year. And the next song is definitely no exception, attached to this post is a preview for Fight Against Smithy, which I'm still aiming to have finished and up on Wednesday! Worse case scenario, it ends up being a very early February song, but at the moment a Wednesday release is looking good.

It's been a little bit since I last posted the to-do list, so here's that:

  • Next: Smithy (Super Mario RPG)
  • February: Departure (Mega Man Zero 2)
  • February: In the Halls of the Usurper/King (Shovel Knight)
  • February: DS Medley
  • TBA (Soon): His World (Sonic '06)
  • TBA (Soon): Memories of You (Persona 3)
  • TBA: Project Peppermint

The 3 songs I'd for sure like to get done in February are Departure (which will be next after Smithy), In the Halls of the Usurper/King, and DS Medley (likely the last song of the month). There's also the matter of my wife's annual Valentine's Day song choice, which she is still deciding on so I can't confirm anything on that front at the moment.

My goal is to have everything that's on the to-do list finished and out by the end of March, so I can divert full attention to revealing the extremely long awaited Project Peppermint as well as getting back to some acoustic shorts. So, until then, I probably won't be dropping any surprise bonus songs or anything like that (but who knows ey?).

Also, my top priority after completing and releasing Smithy is to get the XIII compilation album together, so that should be ready and up during the first week of February. I'll set a time for the song naming stream for the BandCamp release once I have everything ready to go.

That's all for now, buckle up because 2024 is gonna be a doozy, we're just getting started! 😉

This really brings back memories of my days visiting Lemmy's Land, a fan website that used a lot of midi versions of Mario music, Roy's Sports Hall used Fight Against Smithy for 4-on-4 Battle Royales.
